Whether transitioning to parenthood for the first time or dealing with new stages of your family, mothers face a great deal of distress and uncertainty. It is common to experience rage, irritability, fear, and worry of being judged. Let's face it- you need a break! I will support you with determining what is impacting you the most and figuring out how to give yourself some space to manage feelings that come up.
ANXIETY
When anxiety interferes with your functioning it can feel frustrating, overwhelming, exhausting, or defeating. It can be a barrier to doing the things you want, enjoying life, and feeling like yourself. I support people with a range of issues related to anxiety: such as social anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, health worries, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, performance anxiety, pressure to achieve, anxiety from traumatic stress, peripartum anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic attacks, fear of loss, and more.
PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM
Pregnancy is a transformative experience that can bring joy and anticipation. It can also be a time of anxiety and uncertainty. You face a major change in roles, relationships, and daily life. Managing limited sleep, new responsibilities, worries, and social pressures is exhausting, and it may be hard to see how things can feel different over time. I provide support with navigating this emotional rollercoaster at any point along the way. I aim to help you feel more empowered and confident as you prepare to expand your family.
